China Implements Zero-Tariff Scheme For South Africa

Certain South African goods exported between 1 May 2026 and 30 April 2028 will benefit from the zero customs duties initiative, and will help expand the growing South African export market. Additionally, it will help boost South African industrial development and job creation.

Currently, the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition is working closely with the South African Revenue Service to implement the necessary legislation changes for this agreement.
