Hosting a total of 78 online attendees, the event featured Islamic methods of parenting, with a strong focus on the Sunnah to empower parents with the skills, knowledge, and understanding to take with them and implement on the journey of parenthood.
The programme opened with an emphasis on comfort and compassion, as well as recognising unrealistic expectations parents may have of their children. This was followed by the foundation of prophetic parenting; which is mercy; effectively creating a guideline of affection, patience, wisdom, dignity, and respect towards one’s children. Additionally, an emphasis was placed on teaching others by example.
The event ended with a Q&A session, in which live questions were sent through to presenters and answered collaboratively. The topics covered included discipline, digital dilemmas, and Tarbiyah, amongst others.
“JazakAllahu khairan for the beautiful webinar and hope to attend many more beneficial webinars such as this one in future, in shaa Allah, Ameen,” remarked one attendee.
Another shared, “Shukran for all the presentations and insightful, well-prepared webinar. May Allah reward you all.”
