Opening with a welcoming message and beautiful Qir’at recitation, the central focus of the programme was on the importance of following Nabi Muhammad (SAW) as a role model and guide in life, emphasising that a better leader and inspirational figure than him will never exist. Various other talks stressed this message, while drawing practical lessons from his Seerah and applying them to our daily lives.
The inclusion of talks in isiZulu also provided an opportunity to communicate important lessons of the Seerah in a manner that proved accessible to the local community in attendance.
Following the inspirational advice on unity, brotherhood, good character and respect and ways to incorporate these qualities into daily life, the programme concluded with Salaat, Salaam and Durood, a heartfelt Du’a, and was thereafter followed by the Zuhr Adhaan.
Lastly, scrumptious meals were served to all attendees, marking the end of the enlightening and inspiring programme.
