The Farewell Sermon (Khutabatul Wida) was delivered on the 9th Dhul Hijjah 10 A.H in the ‘Unarah Valley of Mount Arafat. Delivered during his final pilgrimage, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ provided us with timeless ethical, legal, and spiritual guidance, highlighting gems relating to the sanctity of life, upholding the rights of others, and the obligation to follow the Quran and Sunnah. This series will highlight 5 key reflections from this address.

Arabs have long been known for their generosity, and history remembers many among them for their open-handedness and noble giving.

Once Qari Abdul Basit (R), the famous Qari of Egypt, was asked, “You recite Qur’an with a great deal of enthusiasm. Have you ever witnessed any miracle regarding the Qur’an?”

A young man travelled to London for business training. He was a righteous individual and punctual with his Salah. After training, during his spare time, he would quietly listen to the Qur’an in his hostel room. The recitation was so soft that it could not be heard outside the door of the room.

Just as ties of kinship are closely linked, so is the relationship with neighbours. The Glorious Qur’an makes mention of two types of neighbours:
