‘Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far Distant Place of Worship the neighbourhood whereof We have Blessed , that We might show him of Our tokens ! Lo! He, only He, is the Hearer, the Seer.’ (Bani Israel)
Allah Ta’ala made us as one “Ummah” and the “Ummah” represents an unbroken “continuum” until the Day of Qiyamat...
Good deeds are indeed beloved to Allah Ta’ala, and are securely deposited in the “bank” of the hereafter. Simultaneously, there are also clear warnings for doing good deeds for name, fame and gain --- “riyaa” (show). As a matter of fact, “riyaa” (showing-off) is a very serious, hated and condemned act. Additionally, it is openly looked-down-upon and despised in man, particularly in a Muslim.
Charity (Sadaqa) is a great gift from Allah Ta’ala. The act of giving and donating, generates spiritual elevation and revitalises the Iman. Allah Ta’ala loves the act of charity. In the Mubarak (blessed) words of our beloved Nabi (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam) reported by Asma bint-e-Abu Bakr (RA) that:
Dear Darul Ihsan
I would like to thank the Darul Ihsan organisation for assisting us to start our bakery business.
With your help we (my wife and I) started the bakery with one staff member.
Every Prophet (AS) upheld the concept and institution of marriage (nikah). In this way --- the most natural way --- the progeny remains “legitimate and pure”.

Allah Ta’ala loves the entire creation since He alone created every living being and everything that is contained in this world. From among the living things, human beings are dearest to Allah Ta’ala.
Verily Allah orders you to act with justice & compassion and to do good to relatives & forbids shameless acts, evil deeds & transgression (Surah Nahl – Verse 90)
Water is a beautiful and amazing bounty of Allah Ta’ala and is the source of life of every living body. Allah Ta’ala says: "It is He (Allah) who sends down water from the sky. From it you drink and from it grows the vegetation on which you send your cattle to pasture". (Surah An Nahl Verse 10)
The verse/s of the Noble Quran that alerts and cautions against friendship with non-Muslims is not referring to every and all types of friendships and relationships. Surah Taubah, verse 23, states: “O you who believe, do not choose your fathers or your brothers as friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whosoever takes them as friends, they have wronged”.
When one makes a promise, it becomes incumbent upon him to fulfill the promise. This is indeed a very important advice and a point to remember. Unfortunately people are negligent of this issue and regard it as a light matter.
On behalf of our learners we would like to give thanks to All mighty Allah for the sandwiches that Darul Ihsan provides to Reunion Secondary learners every Tuesday.
Every page of history is a place of lesson for mankind. The ruthless martyrdom of Sayyidina Husayn (RA) the leader of the youth of Jannah, his family and his companions shall never be forgotten. Every Muslim perceives the pain of this tragedy in his heart. Many lessons are to be learnt from this tragic event.

Amale Sawleh (good deeds) is the only valued possession taken with us in the hereafter. The world and all its contents are meaningless after we leave for our final abode in the Hereafter. It is our good deeds that will be weighed on the scales which is the supreme de facto in the court of Allah Ta’ala. Of course, entry into Jannah still remains the final decision of Allah Ta’ala through His Mercy Only.
