This means all biometrics and applications will be submitted online, cutting down the time required to go through traditional immigration queues at airports tremendously.
Officially introduced at OR Tambo International Airport, the pilot programme served travellers from China, India, Indonesia, and Mexico. The ETA system is now available at Cape Town International Airport, King Shaka International Airport, and Lanseria International Airport, with plans to expand across the nation.
