Q: What happens if a person doing Hajj does not perform QTawaf-uz-Ziyarah?

A: If a person, doing Hajj does not perform Tawaf-uz- AZiyarah and returns home, then the Hajj will not be complete and such a person will be in the state of Ihram with regards to intimacy with the spouse being impermissible and sinful.

Such a person must return to the Haram and perform the Tawafuz-Ziyarah as this is a Rukn (fundamental requirement) of the Hajj and give a Damm if the Tawaf is performed after the 12th of Zul Hijjah.

As long as the Tawaf-uz-Ziyarah is not performed, the Hajj remains incomplete and relations with one's spouse will be
impermissible.
