A: April Fools has no basis in Islam. Whilst it is permissible to have some clean fun and to joke around, it is not to disgrace and humiliate someone in the process. It is also not permissible to imitate the ways of the Kuffar in their celebrations etc. Therefore, a Muslim should abstain from playing pranks on people on April Fools Day.
